I get a real experiance out of the X41's when im not talking to people and just focusing on the game, The sound Quality is Beyond amazing. Besides the tiny things this headset is definitely worth the price.

I'd say gaming headsets give you a good advantage over other gamers. I don't have Turtle Beaches I have the Tritton ax180s, they cost about the same as the
Turtle Beach x3s. The sound quality make you more aware of everything around you including enemy foot steps and bomb defuses, which does give you an advantage, but there are those random noises that you never hear without them like birds, gunshots in the distance, etc. You can hear people approaching around you and have a good sense from were, but not exactly were they're at. I suggest you try them out before buying. Hope this helped

I have used the X1's and I hear just as good as my friend who has X31's. The X31's is wireless as previously stated, but also has different benifits added on to it such as balancing game chat and voice chat and so forth. Turtle Beaches and any headset give you a big advantage... and if you have sitrep pro people with Ninja Pro stand no chance.

i got the x1's yesterday and it is a big advantage over using the regular xbox headset.
i would recommend getting a turtle beach but its up to you which one you want to buy.
if you decide to get any of the headsets make sure that you use ninja pro on your classes so you cant hear your footsteps

I have the x1's and they are amazing. You can hear people walk switch gun and hear them call in uavs and other kill streaks.
I recomend buying them they have helped me loads

They help a little bit, but not amazingly. They helped a lot on COD4, because you could hear Dead Silence. Here, you have to turn your volume all the way up just to hear Ninja Pro when hes right around the corner. If you use Sitrep Pro, then you can hear Ninja Pro with them. My x1s stereo sound broke, but mine was refurbrished.

I like the x31s because its pretty much wireless, but honestly, I recommend surround sound over a headset. It is so much better. However, I do like the fact that the x1s give you some good plugins, where I could plug in my surround sound computer speakers into it, aka the green plug for people that dont know. I can hook up my shelf stereo with the AV cable, and the surround sound with the green cable. So in other words, redneck 7.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound!

Honestly, with the x1's, you will barely turn them up half way, they are great sound quality and dont need to waste your money on batteries for the x3's, i have had both and definantly prefer the x1's. if you are looking to play them with mw2, infinity ward did a fantastic job on blending in the music with the sfx and all the sounds, turtle beaches rarely help except in search and when your camping to be honest.

there good for just turning up game volume on regular pub matches and just listening to all explosins and stuff ud be suprised of all the werid things u hear
i hear this werid noise alllll the time and its sooo annoying but i guess its a bird caaing its so loud and annoying
