Alright so I downloaded Steam and downloaded garys mod. When I try to play multiplayer and connect to a server it says.. "Disconnected STEAM validation rejected."

So how can I can I make it work?

If anyone can help me I will rep.

Is garrys mod the only game you have? Because if so you need another game that runs on the Source engine.
I would advise Counter Strike:Source

Yeah download TF2 or HL2, any game that uses Source. TF2 is free so if you don't want to pay then get that.
