First off I am not going to give download links. most of the things I will be talking about you can find on torrent websites or just by Googling them.

a few things you should take into consideration before installing Windows 7 or any other programme.
can your computer handle the new operating system, like some Netbooks can not have Windows 7 on them because they do not have enough ram or the cpu is not powerful enough

Fresh Install of Windows 7
First off you will need
an ISO of Windows 7 (any version) but make sure if you have a 64bit that your pc can run 64bit OS.
Magic Disk
Win2Flash
if you are torrenting it you will need a client to download Windows 7 like uTorrent or Bitlord.
A DVD with over 4GB of storage or a USB with over 4GB of storage
if you are doing the DVD way you will need a DVD burning programme like Roxio.
if you do not have a USB or DVD you can install Windows 7 but you will need to do it through the operating system.

USB method
1. Find a torrent of Windows 7 and download it.
2. once it has downloaded open Magic Disk.
3. Mount the ISO of Windows 7 in Magic disk by clicking on the icon in the bottom left.
4. you should then get an autoplay, just close that
5. then open Win2Flash.
6. select the Windows destination folder as the Mounted Drive.
7. then select the installation folder as your USB drive.
8. after the Installation of Windows 7 onto your USB has completed remove the USB and then re-insert it.
9. restart your computer and when the BIOS comes up try open Boot Manager.
10. if you have opened boot manager select your USB and continue the installation from there.

DVD Method
1. Find a torrent of Windows 7 and download it.
2. once it has downloaded open Magic Disk.
3. Mount the ISO of Windows 7 in Magic disk by clicking on the icon in the bottom left.
4. you should then get an autoplay, just close that
5. using Roxio burn the Windows 7 ISO to the DVD that you have and select Boot disc.
6. After the burning has completed eject the DVD and then put it back in.
7. restart your computer and when the BIOS comes up try open Boot Manager.
8. if you have opened boot manager select your DVD and continue the installation from there.

In Windows Method
1. Find a torrent of Windows 7 and download it.
2. once it has downloaded open Magic Disk.
3. Mount the ISO of Windows 7 in Magic disk by clicking on the icon in the bottom left.
4. you should then get an autoplay, if not then just go to my Computer and click on the Mounted image.
5. on auto play click on view files and find setup.exe
6. this will bring up an installation windows
7. just follow the instructions and install windows.

When installing windows from the USB and DVD remember if you want to format your HDD when the select drive option comes up select the drive you want to format, then click format this drive.

Anti-Virus
Getting a good anti-virus is an essential part of when you just installed windows, here are my top 3 anti-virus's that I think are best.
1. Avast
2. Avira
3. AVG

how to speed up your computer
there are a few different way of speeding up your computer but there is a programme that has alot these programmes on it, things like
System Scanning - This will clean your computer of all junk files and other files that applications will not use
Cleanup - This is do a more indepth clean of junk files
De-fragment - This will re arrange the data packets so each file has all it's data packets next to each other so it speeds up access time.
Registry Reapir - This will repair corrupted and non working registry keys.
Registry De-fragment - This will arrange the registry keys into a better order for the application it is associated with.
There are many more programmes in this one programme, the programme is called AVG PC Tune up 2011.

Find out what games your computer can run
you will need java or System Requirements lab's extension to use this.
If you do not know what games your computer is able to run you can use a website called Canyourunit.com. all you need to do is find the game you want to check and it will check your computer on all its components and will give you a result within seconds.
