Please take 5 minutes out of your day to read the passage below and sign the petition. I understand petitions normally do not help the cause, however if this one reaches 3000 signatures the family will be given a chance for a fair and judicial court review regarding their predicament. It would mean a great deal not only to me, but to a whole family that simply wishes to stay together for the holiday season. I do not wish to impose on the community, however I ask of you as a close and understandable friend.
This is being posted on behalf of a close and kind friend I have known for several years. A total of 1800 more signatures are needed to reach the goal, so if each member could spread this and make it known too, the family would kindly appreciate it. This is real, and actually happening; it is not something to joke about.
Thank you greatly in advance, and if you've actually read this far, I just hope you would take out several more seconds to sign. Happy holidays to all of you regardless.

This holiday season, the Flores familys only wish is to stay together. After being detained by ICE last week, a current order of deportation hinders their future in the country. The father, Ruben Flores, is currently detained at Broward Transitional Center in Florida, while the mother and oldest daughter are humiliated by wearing electronic shackles.
The family moved from Argentina in 2001 on a visa waiver, looking to provide their children with a better future and an education that they could not receive during Argentinas harsh economic situation. The three eldest children, Rocio (22), Danina (18), and Edgard (14) are DREAM Act eligible youth, who are on the pathway to pursue their dreams. The youngest son, Dilhan (9) is a U.S. born citizen whose life would be damaged if the family were deported.
In the 10 years of being in the United States, the Flores family has paid taxes, learnt perfect English, kept a clean criminal record, and started their own family business. They own a franchise of Mario the Baker, which provides countless of job opportunities to American citizens, from head of households to young college students just like their daughters. They donate food to local charities and create monthly fundraisers to help schools such as Doctors Charter School of Miami Shores and Ruth K Broad K-8 Center. Theyre also active members of St. Marthas Catholic Church.
Announcements by the Obama administration state that Secretary of DHS Janet Napolitano plans on reviewing pending immigration removal cases to focus resources on violent criminals. There is also a Prosecutorial Discretion Memorandum, by Director John Morton recommending favorable discretion to those who were brought to this country as young children, have been educated here, have close ties to the community, are no harm to society, and have immediate family that is U.S. citizen etc.
The Flores family falls under ALL of these criteria and more, yet the father is still detained and the family could be deported at any time.
With the increasing rates in Argentina of murder, rape, and kidnapping, the Flores family can only be safe by remaining in the United States, the country they love
Please take action by signing the petition and then calling these numbers to help the Floreses stay in the US.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement: 1-202-732-6161
Assistant Field Office Director David Bradley: (954) 545-6031
Congresswoman Frederica Wilson Miami office: (305) 690-5905
Congressman Bill Nelson Miami: 305-536-5999
TELL THEM: Ruben Flores (A# 096-098-260) and his family have deep ties to the community. He has a U.S. citizen child and three DREAM Act-eligible children, yet he is detained in Broward Transitional Center for immigrant detainees. We want him released this holiday season to his family and community that love him and the deportation orders of the family to be removed.

I just skimmed that but if they're here illegally they should be deported.
If they're here legally then that's not right.
