Okay so the newest Patch Nerfed the Model 1887s and Stopped the private match XP Glitch right?
Many of you are talking about bypassing it. There isn't really a point in doing this...
Bypassing to do the private match XP Glitch:
MW2 Is designed Server and Client. The client can only connect to a server if they are both the same version (Mw2 Is currently 1.3 and before that was 1.2) So if you are searching online you will only get into a game that has the same version as you. The only way you could probably bypass it is by JTAGing your Xbox. So for people to join they would also need a JTAG Xbox which isn't one of the easiest things for the average user to use...
Trying to Bypass the patch so you can do MW2 10th Prestige hack:
Don't. Following the recent hacking of the leader board's it wouldn't have surprised me if they started making a record of when everyone goes into prestige mode. So if you prestige 1 to 10 in around 10 days time (not 10 days game play) it will be flagged and you would most likely get banned. Or simply go straight to 10th prestige.
The only way you will probably make it to 10th prestige and not get banned is if you do it legit.

Absolutely No one could go up a prestige a day.

i love the way people assume that IW and Microsoft can "see" what you've done. they'd have a lot of **** people to monitor. this is bollocks.
you'll only get banned if you have a silly score like the guys on the top of the leaderboards or if you get lots of complaints filed against you.
these companies do not have massive TV screens showing the people who cheat...

Tbh guys you are going off the point a bit.
We are talking about the bypass by using a certain version.
Boosting is a bit off topic.
i would say that i agree with you.
No one can go up a prestige in a day, i have seen someone do 1 prestige in 2 days but 1 prestige in a day is impossible playing properly.

No that is not what i was getting at.
They would log the date and time you prestige. Anything that is ridiculous 1 prestige in 1 day would get flagged. THEN you would either get banned. OR if you get flagged again you would then get banned/reset
