What is JTAG ?

This is a hardware modification which will allow the running of unsigned code on the unit

What is "unsigned code" ?

This is any software that was not signed by MICROSOFT so made by other third party developers

What is the main software i can run ?

basically any software and dashboards written by developers to run on a jtagged xbox 360 - the list is massive and gets bigger everyday.

Can this run on any xbox 360 ?

No - the jtag hack can run on any model but you have to have a dashboard version of 7371 or lower otherwise your unit cant be JTAGGED at this time

What is XBREBOOT or FREEBOOT

This is a third party dashboard that can run on a JTAGGED xbox and allows you to run unsigned code and games from any external hard drive and allows you to homebrew games such as modern warfare lobbies and then you can run other menus like XEXMENU. This is installed on the PCB board only.

What is XEXMENU ?

This is a preloader type menu it is the best one to use to run your games, applications and emulators and is loaded from the demo section of your xbox games section and is installed to a hard drive it also allows you to copy files and games from DVD or othere EXTERNAL MEDIA onto you main hard drive. it allows the unsigned code to run without it the games on your HDD will not show up.

Can i run copied games, orginal games and downloaded games off HDD ?

Yes you can copy games direct from dvd to hard drive, or from iso files to xbox via pc and xexmenu then once on the hard drive they can be started using xexmenu.

Do i need a microsoft hard drive ?

No - i sell hard drives that will go on the side and are in microsoft style cases and these are the best way to run your profiles and xexmenu and once filled with your games and software you can then connected further hard drives or external storage units via usb.

Do you offer other software for hacking and homebrews etc ?

Yes and no - i offer files for the modern warfare 2 hacks only

Can i copy my profile onto these units ?

Yes you can copy your profile from another xbox by using the new file transfer options on the new microsoft dash board onto a memory stick and then onto your JTAGGED console also they can be transfered using your pc and file dragging (more complicated)

Can i use my hard drive from another console or this hard drive on another console ?

You can connect the other hard drive to transfer your profile or you can transfer your games of it onto a JTAG unit but i wouldnt mix and match hard drives as this will leave unsigned code on it and when inserted into a normal xbox will probably result in a live ban or profile ban

Can i use these units on xbox live ?

Yes and NO - they will work for about 4 hours and then get banned and there are ways to unban them but due to the nature of xbox live if you unban you will be rebanned within minutes normally. I do not recommend JTAG units for online play unless you use XBCONNECT website instead

Do you offer unbanning materials or new KV files ?

Yes - sometimes i have KV files in stock but as you need the CPU key to get these KV files they dont appear often as if i had all that i would just jtag the unit.

What is firmware ?

Firmware is a soft mod that allows you to play backup games on your xbox 360 the samsung and hitachi drives are currently not live safe but they are working on it.

Do these jtag units come with firmware ?

Yes all my jtags come with firmware but they have the samsung and hitachi drives fitted as there so no point in having stealth firmware on a jtag unit as you will get banned if you use xbox live anyway as they detect the updated dash board not the firmware on these models.

What is a backup game ?

Backup games are copies of an orginal game and if you still have the orginal game you are legally allowed to make 1 copy of this game in order to keep your orginal in good conditon. If this then gets a fault you can destroy the backup and make another one

Can i go on xbox live with firmware ?

Yes and no - if you have an older dvd drive like the hitachi or samung or a spoofed dvd drive (swaped) then no you cant as they will detect it and ban you - if you have a benq or lite on dvd drive with the LITE TOUCH firmware and all your games and games saves have been correctly steath made then yes but it is not 100% and one day they will most likely ban you - if you want xbox live 100% then us a normal xbox and normal games the end.

Does firmware and XBREBOOT etc need updating ?

Yes all software needs updating when they bring out different games of different security software i offer an update service for any of my sold or repaired units free of charge for life THEY UPDATE I UPDATE - SIMPLES (excluding postage fees) and a small charge for other units (see mods)

Can i update my console i purchased from you myself ?

Yes but if you brick it its your problem i can help you unbrick but i will charge you to do this and if you break any of my warranty seals then all further repairs or updates will be charged. The only way to update the firmware is to open your unit and this will void your warranty - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
