Sup'. Welcome to my guide on how to host a decent infection lobby.

The goal of this guide: to be able to guide players who want to host infection lobbies without having players leave because of stupid maps + settings/classes.

After playing infection for the last two weeks I've been in every single spot and know where kids enjoy camping the most. I've seen what ruins lobbies and what makes kids ragequit. Infection = finding the best spots to defend in order to survive. Its always gonna be like that and its NEVER gonna be a gamemode in which you run around the map searching for the zombies.

This guide will be divided into 3 sections.
A. Maps: will be judged on how abusive the spots are/how many spots there are on the map
B. Classes: After two weeks of non stop infection lobbies I can suggest what classes are best.
C. Rules/maintenance: Common sense.

Maps

Maps: the most important part of hosting a great infection lobby. If you choose horrible maps without any good spots to camp/defend you'll most likely make people want to join another lobby.

The maps will be judged on the following factors:
1. How unfair/fair the spots on the map are
2. The amount of spots on the map
3. Whether or not its enjoyable

The WORST maps that should NEVER be hosted or picked. They're completely horrible with no spots/extremely abusive spots.

1. Interchange: NO SPOTS at all. No where to camp/defend, you just have to stay on the ground and its pretty easy to kill you. This map is definitely the worst.

2. Mission: NO SPOTS on this map whatsoever. The only spot is on that ledge that is terrible, not fun, and is unfair.

3. Village: NO SPOTS at all on this map. You're easily killable on the hill/tree stump which are the only places you could sort of camp.

4. Carbon: NO SPOTS at all. The only spot you could sort of camp are the crates in the middle and that spot is pretty crappy itself.

5. Dome: NO SPOTS other then the totally abusive balcony. The ladders are unfair and this map makes the infected ragequit pretty easily.

The DECENT maps that aren't as bad as the ones in the WORST section but definitely aren't balanced out enough to be in the GOOD section.

1. Seatown: Although this map has several spots which is normally a good thing...every spot is abusive. They're completely unfair to the infected, and most of the time it'll make them ragequit. But...because theres so many spots(4+ good spots) I'm putting this in the decent section.

2. Underground: The only spot on this map is the one near the flagpole/window ledge/awning. This spot is abusive and its pretty hard to kill the people on the window ledge/flagpole. But the people on the green awning can be knifed under it.

3. Downturn: The two best spots are extremely abusive. The one next to the firetruck is nearly impossible to get on if you're infected. The one next to the white truck is also abusive but its more common to get infected on that one than the firetruck one. But this map also has other somewhat good spots so it won't go in the WORST section.

4. Resistance: The only spot thats actually decent is on the green lamp post and is somewhat abusive. Only 1 or 2 people can get on it though, and they can sometimes be strafe knifed. This map isn't the best but it definitely doesn't deserve to be in the worst maps section.

5. Arkaden: The most famous spot is obviously on the car next to the C-domination flag and its kind of abusive. If the person is in the middle is completely un-knifeable and he only has to aim at the yellow railings. Its really abusive but the map isn't too horrible (it has that one good spot on top of the escalators that isn't completely abusive)

The GOOD maps are better than the DECENT maps and are more balanced out.

1. Bakaara: The only good spots are the ones on the helicopter wings and the wooden boards, and they're both pretty balanced out since the people on it can be killed pretty easily.

2. Lockdown: The spots are balanced out, with each one having its advantages and disadvantages. Such as how the window ledge spot is hard to get to but the guy can be killed through a simple strafe knife.

3. Bootleg: The only spots on this map are the garbage can spot and that other one by the market. The garbage can spot is kind of abusive but usually the people on it can be taken out through some easy evading and jump/prone knifing.

4. Fallen: This map definitely isn't one of the BEST maps but it certainly doesn't belong in the decent section. Its kind of in between in the decent/best section. It has a few spots that are okay and only 2 abusive spots that are kind of hard to get to (the strafe jump- lamp post and the A-domination flag truck)

The BEST and most recommended maps. These maps are mostly balanced out and have several good spots.

1. Hardhat: There are several great spots on this map. Each one can be vulnerable and easy to defend. There are no ultra abusive spots and its a pretty great map.

2. Outpost: The only SUPER abusive spot is the balcony, but all the other spots are really good. There are so many spots that I HAD to put this in the BEST section.

Classes

The classes you choose are actually more important than the maps you pick. If you choose crappy guns with your classes people are more likely to leave.

Humans

Primary: Shotgun/Submachine/Assault rifle - NEVER a sniper rifle. You must have down syndrome if you've ever thought of giving a non-infected a sniper in their classes.
Second Primary: Shotgun/Submachine/Assault rifle
Lethal: Bouncing Betty - a must. Anything else is just stupid.
Tactical: Portable Radar - a must. Anything else is just stupid.
Perk 1: Scavenger Pro - Its essential to spawn with scavenger so you spawn with way more ammo.
Perk 2: Overkill Pro - Two guns are definitely essential if you're planning on hosting a 15+ man lobby.
Perk 3: Steady Aim Pro or anything besides dead silence
Strike package: Specialist: Sleight of hand pro, Quickdraw pro, and Sitrep pro. Why these three? No specific reason. They're just the best first 3 in my opinion.
Death streak: None. The humans won't need a death streak. Only the infected will.

Initial infected (the first zombie)
Primary: Nothing
Secondary Primary: Nothing
Lethal: Nothing
Tactical: Tac insert or smoke grenade
Perk 1: Extreme conditioning
Perk 2: Quickdraw pro
Perk 3: Stalker pro (just because hes the first zombie and needs to infect someone ASAP)
Death streak: Juiced

Infected

Primary: NOTHING. Do not pick a ****ing gun. The infected automatically spawn with a empty pistol and if you choose a gun it'll make them spawn with ammo in their weapons.
Second Primary: Nothing.
Lethal: Nothing. Throwing knives defeat the purpose of camping and will ruin the lobby and make people ragequit.
Tactical: Tac inserts. Maybe smoke grenades if you're having a small lobby.
Perk 1: Extreme conditioning pro - obviously so the infected can have a chance at getting to the humans.
Perk 2: Quickdraw pro - faster tac insert planting
Perk 3: Dead silence pro - only perk thats fair.
Strike package: Nothing
Death streak: Juiced

Rules/maintenance

Theres are only a few rules you should be strict about as the host of the lobby.

1. Don't leave and rejoin if you get infected. This rule is common sense but its pretty hard to stop people from doing it since they'll just have their friend invite them back. Protip: Write their name down in a list (only do this if you're gonna be hosting lobbies often)

2. If you see people being ***holes and constantly blocking other people from spots they should be kicked too. They're obviously homosexual.

Well, thats it. Just spent an hour or so working on this guide lol. I'll probably edit this later on if I change my mind about something. If you want to suggest or argue something feel free to post below. See you guys in a game.
