No, it is original gangsta. That was invented a long time ago. It does not stand for original gamertag, it's gangster. One and only definition.

People made up that OG means "Original Gamertag" but really it's just the same as OG as in "Original" as the OG original meaning was "Original Gangster".

its not that big of a problem there only 1 letter off and most people know when you use OG your referring to your username or gamertag...

Og is slang for original. no it did not originate from original gangster. Just a popular song from ice-t using the term "og". Og meant original before original gangster. OG in gaming terms is still original, but it is referencing "Original Gamertags" meaning 1 word, non plural, no numbers. Just one real word.
