Hey, well shopping around for Turtle Beaches have revealed some problem, I'm thinking about buying some x12's but in the description it says I may need to buy a audio adapter to allow me to use the headset... I had a pair of x11's and they worked fine with HDMI, I guess the wires have changed ? Is there a chance that they will work fine without the adapter?

I have all the required inputs on my TV and there is two output (I think) a white and a red one, does this mean I do not need a adapter?

With the older XBox's you need an audio adapter if you wish to use ANY Turtle Beach headsets with HDMI, otherwise, you'd just have to use RGB.

This is a hell of a lot of hassle for a headset, thanks... Aren't they the same as x11's?? Because they work fine on my TV

x11's and x12's are nearly identical in performance and the way they work.
