Slang is mainly used in txting to save time, and I don't think it will go anywhere, so just deal with it.

The second rant I agree 100%. It's wrong to see people like that!

I can't stand the word 'bro,' 'bruh,' or any variation of that. I'm like you, don't mind acronyms for things such as 'rolling on the floor laughing,' and 'laugh out loud,' but the amount of people talking like illiterate children on online message boards is astounding.

Slang is fine, it can just be a part of the way you have grown up/the area that you live in. im sure you have a different accent to someone else, just because someone uses different words to you. everyone talks different doesnt makes you a idiot at all. i the american government done use slang, but they are the biggest bunch of lying idiots ever, 'nuff said.

I agree with Rant #2, however Rant 1#, I gotta disagree.

The English language is always adapting and changing. What is considered 'standard English' today, was not consider 'standard English' say... in the 1800's. I also think that using these slang words are also decent methods of an informal approach towards people, as in, it makes the person aware that you are comfortable about socialising with them.

Anyways, that's just me.
