There is no exact level you can finish the main quests. Most people go directly into the main quest without "grinding levels" or other people like to grind levels doings lots of sidequest and doing the main quests in a harder difficulty. It's all your choise.

I'm a 35 and I still haven't completed it, I do lots of other crap, though.
Not to mention i'm usually stoned when playing the game so I like to chase bunnies down...

Alright so im doing the Collage of Winterhold Quests and trying to do a quest by the name of "Revealing The Unseen"
It is the quest where you walk into "Mzulft"
There is a guy laying in the corner in a black robe and im guessing he is suppose to dye because im guessing he has the key to open the door right behind the door becuase it says I require a key to open a door. He just says "Can I help you" over and over and when ever I try to talk to him he just repeats that. I swear i have tried everything
PLEASE help

I have tried to kill him (Doesnt work)
I dont have a earlier save
I cannot pickpocket him

Any other way in or advice to fix my problem????
