If your going to stake you want to be underestimated so, you should trying keeping a low prayer and summoning if you are planning on boxing high amounts.

I have seen many people do that so now I look them up in the highscores before I stake them.

If you are planning on staking with armor the main thing that helps a player is their armor and their bonuses so do keep that in mind too.
