So I need to know the difference between HDMI and HDTV in retard terms as I'm no tech savvi.
I need to know this as Turtle beaches do not work with HDMI and I need to figure out which I have xD... I have my xbox set to HDTV and I have no extra cables so Turtle Beaches will surely work? Also if anyone could explain the difference between HDMI and HDTV I'd appreciate it and +rep .

HDMI is a cable that carrys Video & Sound to your tv/monitor from your source (xbox/ps3/computer).

A HDTV is a TV that is capable to play HD videos (from your source) weather than be 1080p or 720p..

I have a HDTV, I connect my xbox to my tv using a HDMI cable And use turtle as my tv has a red/white audio out but you can use hdmi and turtle beaches using the red/white output from the tv or the green cable on the beaches to the green on tv (headphones out)

Hope this helps!
