Ok so my friend messed his jtag up, He has one ring of light bad nand flash he Tried to flash a new freeboot and he used some one else's nand because he didnt have his. he forgot to check the nand for bad blocks. is there any thing he can do to fix it
?

If you cant boot into Xell you will have to either...
1) Use a Nand-X or LPT Cable to flash a new nand to it.
2) Send it in to a trusted seller that can fix it.

if the machine can turn on this is what i would do write a clean nand to flash then flash xell get the cpu key from this you can download a donor kv inject it into the nand usina bincrypt2 once this has been done you can use flash 360 to patch the nand to work with your dvd drive and change the key to anything worked for me
