What Operating system should I put on my custom Alientware?
All I know is it has:
lanparty cfx3200 Mother board
Haven't looked in it much...

Windows 7 Ultimate.
Or if you wish to save some monies, go with Windows 7 home premium. You could also dual boot it with ubuntu.
I would advise Windows though.

windows home premium. dont need the more expensive one, my mate has that and linux, not as good for gmaing tho

You made a massive mistake buying an Alienware.
Anyway, just use Windows 7, make sure it is 64bit.
But don't use Linux, for a gaming machine, Linux is dreadful.

grab a Windows 7 home premium 64 bit then download ultimate 64 bit torrent then you're good to go.. Alienware sucks so bad!
