Are you going to stick with the AMD platform or switch to Intel? It's really unfortunate Bulldozer was such a flop.

It would seem you're going with AMD considering it's an AMD board.
They don't perform nearly as well as Intel's offerings for the price. Since they're so far behind Intel, they've decided to focus on graphics and APUs. I just hope they can bounce back.

That's just clock speed. It's only useful for comparing CPUs of the same architecture. For example, if I have a 2500K at 4 gHz and a Phenom II 955 at 5 gHz, the 2500K will still beat the Phenom simply due to a more advanced architecture. Anyway, are you going to be cooling your with DICE or LN2?

Not anywhere near the feedback of the 2500K or 2600K. Keep in mind that I'm no AMD or Intel fanboy, as both offer fantastic CPUs for certain price points. I just hope Intel doesn't cover all of those points. When companies fight, we win! We need AMD!
