People only believe what their superior's believe.

i.e., mom and dad are Catholic, kid is more than likely be a catholic.
This is how religions are passed down, most people wouldn't belive religion if there superior's didn;t shove it down their throats.

Who actually believed religion, by figuring it out themselves?
Very few people I say.
true Christianity was introduced to me by my parents and i assume that millions of parents have introduced their religion to their children but i know a few people who have found their religion by figuring it out by themselves but as you said it isnt very common. Also many people chose a religion based on what facts can be proven about their religion. But hey parents dont shove it down their kids throats i mean its their choice whether they believe it or not and also if you believe in a heaven wouldnt you want your child to go to heaven and be with you?

Like I said, parents.
And to the friends, well congratz to them, I don't know alot of people that can say that.
It is your choice to believe, but don't you feel intimidated as a child when being tought this, that you are in a way, made believe the religion?

as i said it is the childs choice whether they believe it or not and yes it is sort of strange at first when you are being introduced to any religion but it becomes second nature as you progress and keep learning more and more
