No, You host by having both Xbox's connected to the same internet connection. System-Link works on localhost internet.

yes, connect 1 enterhnet cable to each with a modem that accepts more than 1 plug in.

You need 2 Ethernet cables. 1 into your retail then to your router and then 1 from your Jtag to your router.

You need to have both Xbox's connected to the router via ethernet cord.
