I have an xenon jtag with 12v fan mod and 80mm external fan mod.
my cpu runs around 45 celcius but sometimes goes over 50,
is this normal ?

Sounds about normal, some consoles are vulnerable at different temperatures. As long as you aren't getting 2 red lights, you are fine. But when and if you get 2 red lights you know its from being overheated.
Have your console standing straight up, so it wont suck in dust (If it is laying down it will suck dust out of the carpet/wood/shelf/etc.).
