ok so i plan on buying a jtag but i dont know what the differences are between the jasper, zenon, zephyr, and falcon. don't they all have flashed dvd drives and xex menu?
does it even matter what one i buy? and to load files onto xex menu do i just put them on a flashdrive and then move them over?
Thanks

Yes it matters what motherboard you get. No they do not come with stock flashed drives. You or someone else has to flash them. XeXMenu depends - if they give you a DVD or HDD with it preloaded on it.
Jasper - $300-$500 Impossible to get RROD
Falcon/Opus - $150-$250 Very small chance it will get RROD
Xenon/Zephyr - $100-$200 Cheapest and most popular but gets RROD real easy. You have to have quite a few cooling mods to make it last.

they all have similar motherboards but coming to life expectancy is different as the japser is the best of the best as it very very very rarely gets RRoD second best is falcon and the 3rd best is Xexon, so depeneing on what you will be using it for and how long you will be on it at a time depends on the JTAG you need i match your purposes.
