So like an idiot i put my fan speeds to full and my PC is wayyyyy to loud. I go to change them back through the BIOS and i get asked for my password. I forgot it. Ive tried google to find an answer but no luck so far.

Does anyone know how to edit the fan speeds without using your PC's BIOS?

I'd suggest going through you BIOS to prevent any problems; but as you mentioned, you do not know the password anymore.

Try Cain and Abel to locate your Password, this works wonders.

To take off your bios password open your pc and remove the CMOS battery for around 10 seconds.

You are talking about a PC? SO a tower PC?

Easiest thing is to use bios jumpers to clear the password. If there are no jumpers then remove the CMOS battery.

Just make a new user.Go to the start menu and go from there and then change the fan speeds from there then delete the user again.
