1.Setup a Proper Backup Routine
You all probably know from experience that backing is a dull and boring process you eventually lose interest in-which is exactly why you need to set up a fully automated regime! You can do this by buying backup software such as "Acronis True Image",signing up to a simple but bandwidth-intensive online service like "Carbonite", or even just using Windows built-in backup and restore and basics.

Set Aside dedicated storage preferably outside your PC for added security.Take one full backup of your PC to begin, and schedule your system to take another full one every month or so(whatever you prefer).

2.Make use of Old Hard Discs
When you upgrade, dont throw away old hard discs. If your spare disk has enough space,it can be the free destination for the backups just mentioned.-store it in your spare bay in your new PC for a basic backup solution, or buy a cheap hard disc caddy for a quick and easy external hard disc conversion.Or just use it as an extra partition for your video collection- this frees up a big amount of space on your computers.

3.Install Windows on and SSD
A 60 GGB SSD can cost up to 120 Dollars! For Desktop owners, the most effective way to use a SSD is to install windows and apps onto it, and leave your data residing on a spacious disk.

4.Synch your files
If, like most people, you have files you like to work on both in the office and at home ,the simplest approach is to use one of the growing number of file sych services(Ex:Dropbox.com which lets you upload 2gb of files into a single folder).

I hope these tips helped all of you.
