Okay what annoys me is that lots of people on here think SOPA is the worst thing ever and it's going to destroy the internet. It will not, in fact it will make stuff cheaper in the real world.Look were I am trying to get at here are the most pirated top 3 games of 2011:
1.Crysis 2
2.MW3
3.Battlefield 3
Now crysis 2 got STOLEN nearly 4 million time and now lets say it is 20 from Tesco or ASDA
That would be around 150 million pounds :O shocking isn't it.
Same with movies lots of movies get pirated every year all year. The reason why I said if this bill goes though it will make games/movies cheaper is that because if less people steal the company is getting more money and does not feel the need to raise the price of the product.
And people still say "Well they make millions so it's all justified" answer this would you go to the store and rob a disc? No you would not that's what you are doing and you have a less chance of getting caught right? Yeah you do but that is hurting the company bad and not very fair on them.
I missed a TON of stuff but I want your opinions on this and take me words into account.
Thanks for reading!

I know you got this information from TheGunnShop. And it cannot be beneficial to people because it restricts them from accessing & downloading programs for free.

No, it's a bad thing, the point of the internet was to completely have the freedom to do about anything, and now they are trying to take it away from us? No, that's not good.

There are copyright laws in effect though, which people are clearly ignoring by downloading said programs for free. Music, movies, games. Anything downloaded without permission or paying the copyright owner for permission to download it is illegal.

The point of the internet was so the military could communicate globally. No one has guaranteed freedoms or rights on the internet. Aside from copyright owners.
