I bought my gold and I joined the site like a couple weeks ago. I'm 17 and I have a job so I can pay for my stuff. Begging for stuff makes you look stupid.

The amount of people getting gold now through gift, is just astounding and great for the website, but annoying. Everybody now just wants gold and begs for it. People go around on peoples nuts just to get it.

The problem with this, is that when these kids have gold, all they do is make other members feel not as important as them, just because someone didn't purchase them gold also. It really bothers me that these kids think they're the best. I'm tired of people looking down on those who aren't gold. I think that I'm a good member, and it's a bunch of crap that these month old kids with gold think they're so great.

I've decided, that I'm not going to ask for gold from anyone, because in my mind that's cheating. I'm going to get to my self assigned goal, then award myself with gold.

The kids who are bought it, don't understand what it's like to actually get it yourself.

The difference between gold members and regular members is a badge and some colors. I don't see why everything thinks that gold members discriminate regular members. They get gifted, so what. I gift gold, buy gold and sometimes get gifted. I see where you are going with the new gold members feeling more "powerful", but they think it is the greatest thing in the world and think they have an advantage over regular members, in reality they don't, just colors and badges.

i can see where your coming from, but i got gifted, so i also disagree, i dont look down on people, everyone is equal. but i did notice that alot of the new people here with gold do look down on people with lower posts than them

Well not everyone begs for it!

I got gold through the gift, I didn't even know the guy who gifted me.

I was gifted because I deserve it, People buy gold to look more professional and help out TTG.

Let them beg, let them get their posts deleted, let them be banned.
