Please try identifying the problem first so I can try and help you. Menu disappearance occurs because you have too many shaders being called upon at the same time.
As for the other problems, try debugging first and letting me know the result.

Isnt hotswapping basically installing the modded disc on your hard drive and if it is could you possible download the modded WaW game and put it on your hard drive instead of hotswapping and play it without the iso disc?

Yes and no. Yes hotswapping is installing a modded disc, but no, you could not just put it on your hdd, microsoft encrypts GOD games so that wouldn't be possible.

He is saying basically is it possible to download a modded .iso and transfer it directly to your hdd and play it off of there.

ok, coolbunny, one of my friends and i were thinking since its possible to change the camo on guns, why couldnt you take a .hi file like from a cargo container and replace it with a car window file. would that then make the container see-through? or would it just change the skin of the container? i would greatly appreciate the help. thanks =D
i think this could possibly work because i replaced a "fire barrel" file with a rainbow camo file and it made the barrel pretty much clear.

If you have already tried experimenting with it, try it with this! Personally I have not done many tests with .hi files so I'm not 100% sure it will work, but I'd go for it and try!
