how do i install xexmenu on the 4gb internal memory in a slim? i've read that other people have done it, but i can't find any good directions. i've installed xexmenu to tons of fat hard drives, but never a slim 4gb memory unit. the only storage locations xexmenu shows me (and ftp for that matter) are "flash" and "dvd" i've already tried creating a content folder in the flash directory, and it won't let me modify or create anything. any help would be greatly apreciated, and +rep as well. thanks.

Just install to a HDD that's configured to Xbox and plug it in, then go to memory and move XeX Menu to the other device.

I dont have a slim, so i dont know how it goes for sure. but for my 256mb jasper this is what i did.

1.Load xex menu
2.Browse to the MU(MemUnitInt)
3.Create a "Content" folder
4.In the content folder create a (16 zeros) "0000000000000000" folder
5.In that folder create a "CODE9999"
6.In the CODE9999 folder create a "00080000" folder
7.Place the Xex menu file in the 00080000 folder and thats it.

Note: I had this installed on my 13604 dash, And when i updated to 14699 it was gone. I had to erase the whole content folder on the MU and restart from the beginning. Dont know how it is with RGH but it happened for me. Just keep it in mind incase you update and you cant find xex menu.

You could also try using the File Manager in FSD.
MU for my jasper shows up as "OnBoardMU:" maybe that'll work.

You will have to put it on a usb stick then transfer it. Xexmenu just doesnt show it unfortunately. Thanks for pointing that out, I never even saw that before lol.
