Im planning to buy a iPhone but do you have to buy Internet for it or you can use a wifi connection at your house

If you dont buy 3G, than you can use the internet from your house.

Im pretty sure that if you get the iPhone with Verizon or AT&T, they make you buy the data plan, but if your with Sprint you can not buy the data plan and just use Wi-Fi. But why get an iPhone if your not going to get the data plan?

Data Plans and you can Use your Wifi. but you can't take your wifi everywhere that's why they make "Data plans". I have a IPhone through AT&T and i have a 4GB Data usage limit a month which I believe is 40$.(4GB is Very hard to go over.)

if you dont buy 3g its not really a phone no more,pretty much better buying an ipod if you dont get 3g
