Got mine on my birthday 3 years ago.
I've replaced the disc drive twice,got 3 new shells and had to replace some LED's.

I think mine is even older. I took the case off when we were doing WaW hotswap zombie mods and I think that really keeps it cool. I spay with compressed air to remove any dust.

i purchased my 360 Elite
back in 09, had to get it fixed once
for e-73/e-74 problem
but now its works beautiful
i got my fans tweaked so they are extra loud
and do a good job keepin my xbox from heating up
