Hi TTG, i got an HD PVR for christmas. I use Total Media Extreme 2 to record. my Quality seems good. but it always lags while im recording and im afraid it will be laggy when i render it . If anyone can let me know what the problem is or if its just like that . please reply/PM/ Send me a message on xbox . GT : Ninth Grade

If you are talking about preview lag when you record, then ofc it is lag.

Turn of recording preview for better result. And try to upload a test video to youtube and see.

It doesn't matter if it lags in the preview in total media extreme. When you render it'll be smooth trust me I had the same problem on my old rubbish laptop but the footage turned out fine.

Just test a small clip, then see if it lags, if not the its ok
