Adjuro wrote This actually works, I used it on my friends at college, I wrote down the word 'Carrot' on a piece of paper(obviously they never knew as I didn't show them) and I told them I know what they're going to say, most of them said 'Carrot' after my mathmatic questions.

Theory
Well, I was told this by my grandad, he asked me the exact same question. He guessed what I'd thought of first time!

Ask someone: Think of a vegitable.

Then you guess it. I dont know why, but the majority of people will say either:
Carrot (if they're aged 5 - 50) or Cabbage (if they're older)

So honestly, what did you think of and try it on your friends.

I was thinking of an orange

carrot

the trick here was people saying fruits instead of vegetables
