I was just about to go on the Xbox360 and it had a error.
It was something like E73 or E79.

thats called the RROD call microsoft or wherever if you have a warranty they will ever fix it or send a new one

E79: Hard Drive Error... It could be a problem with the Hard Drive itself or a problem with the internal connection to the hard drive, Try removing the hard drive and playing without it

E73: General Hardware Error: Ethernet port... this error is caused by a problem with the Ethernet port.

Its been opened to try and fix red ring of death.
And i tryed playing without a hard drive

is there red led's on the front? if there is 3 then do this
step 1
wrap the xbox in three towels(make sure the power brick is in the 360 and is powered on AV/HD cable is not plugged in)

Step 2
Wait 30 mins

Step 3
Take the towels off and turn off the 360 and wait 45 mins

once done it should work
NOTE: only works when 3 RROD are showing

No it does not have 3 rings.
But it wont show any picture on the tv.
I have checked its on the right setting.

take out the hdd and put it back in

E73: I think this error is because of a problem with your ethernet port.
