due to some changes made in the gamedb ,it may increase the sile size of the gamedb. save a backup often when modding the file and after each change confirm your file is 6.19mb if not it will not work on iso mods
here are some pre modded game db files
file 1 [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
basic iso mods semi legit
all cars are free(except dlc cars)
unicorn,bentley,hog,nullcar are purchasable
toyata gt1, aston lola ,and minesr34 are modded
most part upgrades are free for these cars as well
r1 class pi increased so that no car should hit x class with modded upgrades

full blown iso mods much more and file size gets to big
all cars are free(excpt dlc cars)
unicorn,bentley,hog,nullcar are purchasable
toyata gt1, aston lola ,and minesr34 are modded
most part upgrades are free for these cars as well(will update when all parts are free)
all cars are f class and all world tour race events allow f class cars
ai is dumb (not as dumb as the jtag mods)

jtag only mods
all cars and parts are free (dlc cars and any dlc parts are still not as this is contained in the dlc container)
unicorn cars,bentley,warthog,and null_car can be bought in game

also added dumb ai cars (setting dificulty to pro make ai act dumb)
car will no longer roll over
car tire damage now will not happen

This tut is to show how to mod unicorn cars onto your retail xbox that has a flashed dvd drive
things you need
retail xbox
xbox backup creator
SQLite Database Browser 2.0 b1 [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
first install SQLite Database Browser 2.0 b1 and extract xbc onto your computer
now for the mod
open up xbc
select image tools and then select image browser
once the image browser opens on the top left select file and then pick your forza 4 iso
you wil get a screen like this
now navagate to
media
db
on the right side you will see a file cvalled gamedb.slt
right click this and choose extract
save the file to a location you will rember where it is
now that you have the game db slt file on your computer
open up SQLite Database Browser 2.0 b1 and select the gamedb.slt
once it open s you will get a screen like this
now at the top you will see three tabs
Database Structure / Browse Data / Execute SQL
click on Browse Data and it will now look like this
at the top there is now a drop down box click on it and locate Data_Car
like so
now that you have selected Data_car
using the scroll bar at the bottom scroll to the right untill you find
IsUnicorn
at the top
now scroll down any that are listed a 1 will be unicorn cars to make them purchasable in game on your flashed xbox you must double click the box
and change the value to 0
make shure to click apply changes after changing the value
( at this point i always alter IsPurchased so all are 1 / BaseCost soo all are 1 {makes all cars cost 1 cr} / and IsDrivable all to 1's {makes nulcar,warthog,bentley drivable} )
whew that takes forever to enter all thoes changes but in the end its worth it
now that you have finished editing all the files in the gamedb.slt you wish
open up xbc again
go to the image tools tab again
(make shure to change the check box on the right to inject)
and then click on image browser
open your forza iso again
once open
navagate once again to
media
db
right click on the gamedb.slt file again but this time choose replace
now since your in xbc
make shure your iso is patched with the proper topoligy data for lt3.0
close xbc
burn your disc
profit
im shure if this is used to make crazy fast cars or change class restrictions it will be a bann from forza if not a total console ban so you have been warned (like anyone reading this really needs a warning )

since it was asked i threw a fast tut togather on making fast cars
to mod the hp speed of your car in the sql
first open up the gamedb.sql in sqlite database browser
at the top click on the tab browse data
once there click the drop down box and find data_engine
now click the magnifying glass icon next to the drop down box
select media name in the big drop down box on the left
and select contains in the smaller one on the right
now type in the first 3 letters of the car manfacture you are looking for
like so
click on the car you want to mod
under engineid there will be a number (this is the car engine id # )
write this number down
now that you know youe engine id number go to the drop down box at the top again and select
list_upgradeengine
under ordinal find the number you just retrived
like so im using the bugatti 09 veryon
at the top locate torquescale
and modfiy the number listed for your car (good rule of thumb is to double that number)
do not mess with any listed with 0 stats
you may see more than one entry for your car this
the # listed in the ISSTOCK row will tell you
1= stock motor
2=upgrade engine 1
3= next upgrade engine avail if there is one (and so on )
you can also do this for other engine related upgrades as well
while in the diffrent list upgrades you can also change the cost of the upgrades ,and alter other things like masdif
just play around wityh the settings (make shure to have a clean backup incase u break somthing )
unless you want a floating car that goes nowhere do not mess with weightdistdiff i ended up with a car that could not keep all 4 tires on the ground because it had 10000 of pounds of weight all in the rear
