I have 4gb of ram and minecraft lags sometimes... idk why i have render distance on short and everything right. Is there anything i can do to make it run smother.

You cant really do much more than allocate more ram to java if it requires it. Although with only 4gb ram i dont advise it

(Look up a tutorial if you want to)

RAM really doesn't matter that much in minecraft, You need to have a good graphics card to run smoothly.

Well i have 4gb ram, and i lag. I'm on my laptop as well.

The graphics card needs to be a good one, and also, the CPU needs to be at least 2GHz, and the more ram the better, but ram isn't the most important.
