You can't get console ban for modding gamerscore .

You either committed fraud , usage of other peoples credit cards.

Probably hacked games or cheated online which can always get you ban.

If you stole from the market place you can get ban as well.

Check your email if they didn't send you a email call them up and ask . I doubt they will discuss it over the phone.
