-Gibson- wroter00t_b33r wrote-Gibson- wrote Get yourself a pair of studio monitors and a decent sub, like a 10 inch yamaha is what I have and its great, really clean bass, you would like it, but your looking at like 700+ if your going with studio monitors because you will need an interface and all that jazz
For "studio monitors," you can get a great 2.0 system for under $100. $120 gets you the Swan M10 with a sub (albeit a small one that's not very capable). There are plenty of other 2.1 and 2.0 options, like the Klipsch Promedia and a number of offerings from Swan.
I was talking about quality studio monitors, like the ones I'm using in my studio currently which are the yamaha HS80M's
You can get quality on a budget. You don't have to spend that much if you don't have that much. You pay more, you get more quality.

You can get incredible quality on a budget, is my point. I'm not knocking the more expensive options.
