The game mode infected can be found in the " Alternate Game Modes" when in a private match pregame lobby. This is basically a Zombie base game mode that is very popular. The object of the game is to not by the killer or Zombie. At the beginning of each match, the game counts down from five and picks the first player to be infected. This is totally on a random scale, so no one knows if the will be it or not. When the infected kills a survivor, they will become infected as well. This goes on until the game ends. Maps will take a big affect on how fast the game goes as well. So be careful for what you wish for.
