Just letting you know that laptops and gaming are not a good mix.

If you want a decent gaming PC you should always build it yourself.

I would suggest building a nice gaming PC and then getting a relatively cheap laptop for small tasks like work and portability.

You don't need experience. We can help you figure out parts. Research is the key to this. You can make a topic listing all parts that you're looking to buy and we can make sure they are compatible.

Use newegg computer building tutorials on YouTube. They are very good tutorials and I recommend that you follow them.

All parts you need is:
- A case (I would go mid-tower unless you're planning on going dual GPU)
- A CPU (Processor)
- RAM (at least 8 gigs or 2x4)
- Aftermarket cooler is needed if you're planning on OCing the processor (If you get this, also get thermal paste)
- PSU (Power Supply Unit, distributes power to all components)
- CD Drive
- Operating System install cd
- Video card
- Anti-static cord (really cheap and is essential from keeping the computer components from being fried from static electricity.)

Just research and time will pay off. By building a computer, you learn so much and you get a kick butt computer!

You don't have to build your own computer per se. Just go to a website where you can customize your computer [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Yea then I'm defiantly going to build my own computer. I think it would be really cool and knowing how to do this would be very beneficial.

I would definitely suggest the Intel Core i5 2500k for the CPU, and make sure your case large enough for your video card. The COOLER MASTER Storm Enforcer is a pretty nice case.
