Alcubierre drive spaceship(Warp drive)

An alcubierre drive is the drive used to warp in the Star Trek tv shoews and movies.

It warps the fabric of space in front of the ship down and warps the space behind the ship up alowing us to travel faster than light.

Hyperspace ship


A hyperspace ship is the type of space travel you seen in the Stargate movies and tv shows

A hyperspace drvie operates by opening a hole in the fabric of space to a form of space called sub-space in where light can travel much much faster.

FTL drive(Faster than light)

An FTL drive space travel is seen in the TV show Stargate Universe

The FTL drive on that show i think operates by entering a low level of sub-space alowing travel faster than light but not as fast as hypersace

My take on this is from SGU also there is the FTL drive from Battle Star Galactica
