I have a Gigabyte motherboard and i have gone too unplug one of my sata cables and the sata slot has come out of the motherboard! will the warranty cover this because i need a repair but the problem is that i got it built for me in a shop in town so would they send it off for a repair plz reply!

You should ask at the shop what warrenty you have. If its not under warranty gigabyte will repair it for a price

Your best off taking it back to the company who built it for you letting them have a look at the problem closer. Then asking them for the recommended action to take. And yes i think the warranty will cover it ring up and ask is your best option.

You'll have to contact GigaByte on this one. Depending on whether 'loose' SATA ports are a known issue on the motherbaord they might or might not fix it for free.
If it's not a known issue they'll assume you weren't careful when taking it out. They'll fix it for you but it won't be free
