It outrages me. I myself am a foreigner. I am a proud Albanian. I came to america 7 years ago. I got fully accustomed to their traditions, what the country as a whole believes in and their way of life. I got used to it and had absolutely no problem dealing with it and changing my ways to fit the american life. Then my family managed to get citizenship for everybody and we are now Albanian-American. We are citizens of this country and yet people still treat us like absolute dirt. It's outraging. Honestly such a huge percentage of the U.S has this biased idea of what all foreigners are like and it is NOT true. It sickens me to know that Americans definition of foreigners is that we are just here to steal their jobs and ruin their economy. It is untrue. If anything, US foreigners are what built the U.S to what it is now. There are no actual fully blooded "Americans." Back when America was discovered, people from all lands settled here and colonized america and slowly throughout time, it became the place we all recognize. Also, the fact that Americans think that we are here to steal their jobs is rediculous. If anything, most foreigners come here for a better life such as my family and the jobs that we take are the jobs that NOBODY wants. My parents both worked as dishwashers in a restaurant. Throughout the whole time they have been here, all they have ever working is, jobs that nobody would want to have. We still take them because we do what we can to make a living out of it. No foreigner comes here thinking "yeah i am going to steal all these bastard Americans jobs and ruin their economy." No. Not true. Yes, I do agree that there should be strict rules regarding illegal foreign immigrants coming here but as for as for normal immigrants like My family and I, we are just here like everyone else that came here. To have a better life and a better future for our family. I am 15 and there isn't one day in school or anywhere else that i socialize with my friends that they have to make fun of me and comeback at me for anything they are mad at just for the fact that i am foreign. I am so sick of it. But what am i going to do about it? Nothing. I just sit here and laugh about it cause there is nothing i can do. It outrages me. Most of you will not agree with a single piece of information i have stated, but, after all this is the rant section and I just wanted to vent.. Thanks for reading this...
