Multiplayer? No.

co-op. Possibly. If there was some form of CO-OP then skyrim could be amazing, maybe a quest or an activity that you can team up with a friend to do.

i think it would be a good addition to the game if say 4~6 people were allowed to wander one world. and use there own saves independantly, they could see dragons and npcs etc at the same places but could not assist doing quests for instance.. any quest required NPC is seen as each persons quest state and can only be hurt by the person who is meant to kill it.

it would make exploring etc more fun aswell in my opinion aswell and doing small tasks etc as you can all have fun then amongst each other not just sitting in a boring party chat

It is nothing like dead island at all and since bethesda hasnt made a game like this with online it wouldnt end up like borderlands, your friend is right it would ruin the game

However if it was made to be an online game than i would say that it would be only 2 player co-op, it would also take longer to make which is saying a lot since the game took 4 and a half years to make without multiplayer

Its not like Call of Duty were people use guns and can rank up and things. Skyrim is like an adventure/sandbox game. What would be in the multiplayer section? 10 killstreak = Chopper Dragon? 25 kills = arrow to the knee? It wouldnt work.

I think that would be pretty awesome, almost like a GTA style where you can go online with friends and do what you want. However, not a MMO style game because then it would just be too much.

Multiplayer with Friends = win

It would ruin it with all the mods. There would be no point, too many mods
