in short yes. if someone lets say makes a game, that may somewhat be, in anyway, copyrighted (ie. got the idea off a site where someone posted a thoughts on a game, and someone else on that site happened to post something copyrighted), then they can shut down that site, and then they may look at which games look similar to ideas on that site, and then they find the game you just bought. Then they can shut down the microsoft servers, disabling you to play your games online and such.

You can still play Xbox, the only thing the SOPA/PIPA acts effect are sites that host copyright material on them.Even if the site didn't host that material on purpose,the whole site will be shut down. An example of this would be someone uploading a song to youtube since youtube does not own the copyrights to said song, hte whole site would then be labeled as a site the supports piracy and would be shut down. Heres an analogy for you "If a criminal had counterfeit goods in a bank safety deposit box, SOPA would allow the legitimate IP owner to shut down the entire bank and all of the branches with out notice, search warrant or due process." - TotalBiscuit

Me and PIPA are supposed to stop piracy. There will still be xbox and DLC and apps because those are all legally licensed to there respected vendors. It will only affect people who post stuff that's not theres.
