you are stupid. the sun has a natural cycle that involves an 11 year period and every 11 years this "angry sun" will spit out x flares. when it happens this means that the equator is spinning faster then the magnetic poles. so yes those flare balls flying at us in 2012 are x flares i believe and no these are not strong enough to end the earth we may have side effects and this will probably be the worst year for it so far but not for a billion years will this prediction be able to end the world.

Edit- By 2012 i mean the movie when all those firing rocks are flying down at earth.

also the pole shift wont do that much other then messing up or compasses. The only way we would have to be really scared is if there was a sudden pole shift or a pole reversal in wich is almost possible i believe.
