it shows people that you are active more than kids who just joined! If someone just joined, why would they gift you? They cannot tell if you are going to stay active. When if they gift someone who is very active and has been for months the Gifter might feel more comfortable spending money when they know it will be well spent.

Would you give someone gold if they wouldnt do much with it? Or give it to someone to put it to good use?

If you post HELPFUL things and someone gifts you well that's fine.
If you just spam to get 2k posts then you shouldn't deserve it.

Many people who don't deserve it get gifted but some people are just stupid.

I have never gotten Gold and I don't complain like you, Slaves complained but in the end they got freedom. It doesn't matter, it is their money don't worry you might not get it but you will (might) get it some time.
