Playing matches is the obvious route to money making, but here I share some simple{and some not so simple}money making tips.
Newbies:
Discarding is the number one tip. Each card has a discard value. Gold player cards discard for 300 coins minimum. By discarding a card you effectively sell it to an invisible trader.
So if you ever buy a player for less than their discard price, you make easy money. Every gold player card discards for 300 or more coins. So keep an eye out for cards selling for less. This is one of the base techniques to learn and use.
Rare gold player cards discard for 600 coins minimum. Rare cards are shiny, you'll notice them shimmer. Buy these for 550 coins or less, and you'll always make a profit.
Rare gold kits and badges discard for around 240 coins, so buy them for 200 or 150 for an easy gain.
These really easy discard tricks have been the base for hundreds and thousands of players, and even now i will bid on a handful of golds that are priced at 250 coins.
Bronze packs cost 400 coins and the individual cards are always worth more when sold. Fitness cards and healing cards are easy to sell, at 200 buy now. Buying one or two packs, listing the contracts and fitness and using the players kits/balls/stadiums is a great way to make a little money while stocking your early career on Fifa Ultimate Team.
Intermediate:
Contract market. If you have the time and determination, almost every market can make you money, but contracts are a special case. Everyone needs them nearly all the time.
Trading in contracts is the same as trading any card. Learn their value, then buy them cheap. During peak times, these sell for a lot more than they do off-peak. While the european player base is at school, work or asleep [europeans are by far the most active group of players of FUT] trawl the market for cheap contracts, then sell them in European early evening, or weekends.
Trading this market teaches you the basics. You'll learn you need to be fast to get the best priced contracts, and you will notice how markets vary in price over the course of a day, a week, and months.
Learn prices. Learning prices can seem daunting, but you will find you learn several without trying in your early UT career. If you build a Serie A team, you'll pick up a few Italian prices as you go along. A day later you may notice a stray Lavezzi going at half his normal price. But you can get a rough grasp on everyones price easily.
Don't buyout. Ok, buyouts are sometimes good prices. But the vast majority of the time, bargains are had when you keep your eyes peeled for a card and snipe it, just as you would on ebay.
Gold managers. Almost all gold managers[well all that aren't Scottish or Welsh]are worth buying at 150 coins. You'd be surprised which ones can be gotten easily for 150 coins, and resold quite easily for 400 or 500 buyout buyout within minutes.
Learn formation popularities. All the four back formations are worth a good price. The formation training market is small, so its easy to learn, but you can make a million on this market alone if you are quick and can learn the relevant prices. It can also help in the player market, most players will sell for slightly more if they are in the 4-1-2-1-2 or 4-4-2 formations.
Advanced:
In forms. The better in form player[players with a black background, noticably different to the other 99% of players] can sell for several hundreds of thousands, even over a million. The market is just like any other. Study it and profit. The profits are larger, but there are pitfalls. Over-invest, and you can lose millions, and fail to study the market intently enough, you will eventually take a hard loss as the market can be volatile.
Remember, gold in form players discard for between nine and ten thousand coins. People sell them for less sometimes, because they're rare enough that many don't understand their true values.
Make a niche. I used to specialize in Kaiser chief shirts. Such a simple way to get started, but it's true. Their is for many the best looking in the game, go take a gander yourself. I bought many of these cheap and sold them for markups of 3000%. Because mine were the only ones[I immediately bought up any cheaper ones myself] people had to buy from me.
