FAQ! Find answers to your questions here!
This is a small area for some of the more common questions I've seen asked in
this thread.
Q: If I leave Automatic Renewal on, will it charge me for $1 a month?
A: No. If you choose to leave your Automatic Renewal on, you will be billed
for the then current price of a month of Gold. The current price is $9.99.
Q: Do I need a credit/debit card or PayPal?
A: Yes. This is because Automatic Renewal is automatically enabled. This
can be disabled via Xbox.com.
Q: I get an error that says the promotion is no longer available. Why?
A: Sometimes it's a simple Xbox.com error. Logging out and back in should fix it.
Q: I get an error that says due to my membership that I cannot purchase.
A: An Xbox LIVE Free (Silver) account is required. If you're Gold then you cannot
purchase on that account.
