On the keyboard on my laptop, the 'S' key, doesnt work if i press it slightly to the left of the centre, but it does if i press it on the right? I've took the key out and cleaned it and where it was, but still the same problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Properly a fault with they keyboard maybe you hit the key to hard that's what happened to mine once i hit the key to hard and it would only work if you pressed it in a certain area.

I had the same problem, it got worse for me, half of my keyboard doesn't work. I just purchased a wireless keyboard. It could be a different problem this is just a suggestion.
