Yeah, I'm new here. I'm big on USB modding, and I've modded so much. I modded my halo 3 emblem into an orange silhouette of a star, but it always changes when I'm in a game. When it is the star emblem, I can normally invite people, but they cannot join. My game says "someone is joining you game" but I can still start the game. I think I might have messed up on the hex, but I'm not sure. If anyone knows a fix or how to remove it, I would love to hear it. I've already tried to remove it in HxD, changing the edited values to 00, but it only corrupts my profile. I've tried deleting and recovering, but it helps nothing. My GT is xHKx MuTiNouS. In the video, I moved the camera so nobody saw my friend's gamertag I was joining the session in progress of.

I screwed up my profile, help please.

well if they do not have it on their system, then it will not allow them to join as they dont have the same file, making the playlist invalid and your lobby impossible to join unless the emblem is changed

I realize that, and I cannot find a valid fix. If someone invites me to their game and promotes me to leader, that usually works fine. Nothing works campaign wise, though. If my friends are hosting, or if I am, it always kicks them. Recently in matchmaking, it kicked me out of a lobby, but kept me in the game session so I was playing alone, therefor forcing me to win the session as my friend was still playing in the same map and game, just with the other people who were kicked out of my game.

Extract your profile off your hard drive or your USB, then open it in HxD, or any hex editing program. Then search for your service tag. (Ex. O06, L01, A55) Once you find your service tag, you count back 7 values from the beginning of the highlighted text. Once you're at it, you change the value to 1E. The values are like this - 1F 00 00 2B 00 1A 00 00 00. (These are not mine, just random ones to get the point across.) I would recommend you to not do it.

And please help, this is not fixed.

Also, dosent modding your emblem make it near impossible to stay in a game without it kicking you out? (You need host to stay in game) because this happened to my friend

This is still not fixed. Can someone please give some help. I have tried changing all modified 1E's back to the normal 00, but no luck.
