Ive been prescribed 800mg ibuprofen... What do they do, do they get you sleepy?

800mg ibuprofen is the same as taking 4 over the counter 200mg ibuprofen. It is just a stronger dose.

It will not make you sleepy there are very few side effects with ibuprofen.

I take 4 over the counter ibuprofen whenever I am hungover.

Edit: Obviously don't take more than you are prescribed. There is always a danger in taking too much medicine.

It help with pain, doesnt make you drowsy, i take that much when i have a head ache

I got the same prescribtion just a few months ago when i got surgery and it just makes you a little bit sleepy nothing major and you dont feel any pain (i did when i was on them but it was alot less). And you DONT want 2 take 2 in a row to fall asleep...

Edit: Taking 2 to help you fall asleep would not be a good plan. Last thing you want is your body not able 2 handle it and something 2 happen while your sleeping.

IBU helps the pain disperse. I would NEVER trust someone on the internet telling you your 'right' prescription.
