Best way to avoid hitmarkers is to stop playing softcore. I rarely if ever see hitmarkers in any of the hardcore game modes.

hitmarkers mean you're not aiming. Brb quickscoping randomly at some kid without aiming, expect to get a kill.

Also,(bolt action) snipers are too unreliable in this game.

Prone .50 cal in a choke point = easy 3+ feeds. Has 0 recoil

Aim more upperbody and head. This helps alot
